Toyota to Focus on Safety in Ad Campaign

Toyota is focusing its marketing message more intently on safety to help reassure consumers after the negative publicity about product recalls, Bob Carter, group vice president and Toyota Division general manager, told Automotive News.  

“What we’re dealing with is a perception issue,” said Carter said, adding that the safety theme will continue in the brand’s advertising until consumer attitudes change.
