Independence Day is almost here!
Independence Day is a time to celebrate all the wonderful success that our great country has seen since that memorable day on July 4th, 1776 when many brave men stood up for their rights in the face of tyranny and oppression. America has seen many ups and downs on the path it took from that day, but it’s the bruises we picked up along the way that have molded us into the successful, hard-working American people!
The 4th of July is not only a time to celebrate all that we have, but also a time to be thankful and give back! Many great causes need our support and Toyota is meeting those needs with their new national program dedicated to helping improve operations for schools, hospitals and non-profits throughout the country. “The company will be working with up to 20 community organizations across the United States in the first year to help improve performance, beginning with the St. Bernard Project, a New Orleans recovery organization that employs returning war veterans, AmeriCorps members and volunteers to rebuild homes devastated by Hurricane Katrina.” Toyota Launches National Program to Expand Efforts to Help Schools, Hospitals and Community Organizations Make the Most of Every Dollar
Many people will argue that they only buy American when it comes to purchasing cars, but what does it mean to buy American these days? Believe it or not, Cars.Com’s annual “American-Made Index,” which ranks vehicles based on the percentage of their parts that are produced domestically, where they are assembled and how many are sold to U.S. buyers, named Toyota Camry as the “Most American” vehicle.” The Sienna ranked No. 6 on the list and the Tundra ranked No. 9, giving Toyota 30% of the top 10 picks for Most American vehicles. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/camry-most-american-car-according-to-carscom-study-124581948.html
