This was the third new vehicle purchase I have been involved in over the past year. I do not find anything wrong in a Dealer trying to make a few extra bucks by offering additional dealer services or ad-ons. The thing I have a problem with is Dealers taking advantage of uninformed customers by making them feel they do not have the option to decline the offer. One Dealer tried to have my wife sign a form for additional services (i.e. window vin etching, nitrogen in tires, full tank of gas, cost of detailing vehicle, etc.) totaling $700 dollars after we had negotiated the price of the vehicle. Luckily I was able stop her before she signed. Most of these things are a part of the cost of doing business and should not be added to the negotiated price after the fact. Another dealer’s financing manager added $300 to the purchase agreement and did not inform us of his action until we question it. It was added in between the other charges such as TT,L. It was for VIN etching. We were told that if we did not accept the charge, they would have to increase the negotiated price. Actually in this case, the price was not negotiated. It was discounted and clearly marked on the vehicle’s windshield. It was their advertised price for the vehicle! This action is very unethical in my opinion. I was expecting the same at your dealership and was totally surprised when it did not happen. I was offered additional services by the salesman but at no time did I feel like I was being forced to accept or deceived in any way. From the moment I walked into your showroom and greeted by your receptionist I felt welcomed. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. The entire experience was pleasant. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Team Toyota. I live near Lafayette and only wish you were a bit closer. I am glad to see that there still are some honest car dealers around. Keep up the good work.

Communication is important to me and from the time of my internet request to the purchase, Vance was in communication with me.
