Baton Rouge Green planted and maintains more than 20,000 trees at medians and intersections along Baton Rouge’s highly traveled roadways. The Green Team — local sponsors who make this possible — is a regional model that demonstrates community responsibility for caring for public green spaces. Currently, BRG manages 35 roadway enhancement projects along interstates 10&12 and other highly visible roadways.
